A little about me (Julie)…

I started my Masters in Interior Design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC in January of 2009.  I am currently taking the year off of school to save up and if and when I do start up again it will most likely be at Marymount University in Arlington.  I work for A Splash of Elegance, which specializes in weddings, events and etiquette and I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.  I am working towards being accredited as a Professional Bridal Consultant with ABC.

I love everything that is architecture, interiors, events, decorating, home, etiquette, cooking, recipes and I write about all of them here.

I am a native Washingtonian/ Virginian/ Northern Virginian.  I hate it and I love it here.  If you live here, you know what I mean.
