I have been wanting to spice up the header of my blog for a while now- stay tuned to see what I come up with.
When I saw these frames you can buy from MyFonts.com I totally was about to buy them- then I realized I could probably draw them myself. One of them would look just lovely in the new header design for my blog.
Since I’ve been in design school, and particularly since taking a graphic design class I have been much more aware of typography and typefaces (the sophisticated word for fonts). I now understand how people can get obsessed with buying fonts- I know I have.
Speaking of fonts, (excuse me, typefaces) the font that was designed exclusively for Martha Stewart Living is now available for the public to buy. Archer is a lovely font, check it out:
Now that it is available to the public I have been seeing it everywhere. I just got an email from Ann Taylor where Archer was their font:
And on an invitation I just got to the Design Center here in DC:
Keep your eyes open cause I’m sure you will be seeing it around, it is such a lovely font…
