I already have a KitchenAid mixer but it was my mother’s, which means it is over 20 years old. It is still holding up great though, except that the dough hook is MIA.

I am currently snowed in due to Snowmagedden/ Snowapocalypse/ Sn-omg and this morning I got a hankering for pancakes. I did a quick google search and came across this delicious made from scratch recipe:

Last March I posted here pictures of a few cute cake stands I found online. In this month’s Martha Stewart Living they had a whole article on glass cake stands. A bunch of the cake stands they featured were from Pattern Glass and are absolutely goregous!

On Saturday I went to the Lancastar County Dutch Market in Germantown, Maryland. Oh my goodness…. they had the most amaaaazing food. If you live anywhere near, you must go check them out. Yum. Scones are so easy to bake and so absolutely delicious. I use the Better Homes and Gardens Recipe, the only changes I make are using chocolate chips in half the dough and leaving the other half plain. I also use a star cookie cutter to cut them out instead cutting them in triangles.

I just spent an hour putting together an exquisite post on cake stands and accidentally deleted it all… AHHH!
